This Supplier Code of Conduct establishes the standards, expectations, and principles that guide our relationships with suppliers, contractors, consultants, service providers, and strategic partners.

We expect every supplier working with Weigeaux to operate with integrity, comply with applicable laws and regulations, protect human rights, maintain safe workplaces, safeguard intellectual property, and conduct business in a responsible and ethical manner.

Our objective is not only compliance, but the creation of long-term partnerships that promote innovation, accountability, sustainability, and mutual success.

Human Rights & Workforce Standards

Weigeaux is committed to conducting business in a manner that respects internationally recognized human rights and expects suppliers to do the same.

Child Labor Prohibition

Suppliers shall not employ child labor in any form and shall comply with all applicable labor laws governing minimum working age requirements. Appropriate verification procedures must be maintained to confirm worker eligibility.

Forced Labor Prohibition

Suppliers shall prohibit forced, bonded, indentured, trafficked, or involuntary labor. Employment must be voluntary, and workers must be free to leave employment in accordance with applicable laws.

Equal Opportunity

Employment decisions shall be based on qualifications, performance, and capability. Suppliers shall promote equal opportunity and maintain workplaces free from unlawful discrimination.

Suppliers shall foster professional workplaces that are free from harassment, intimidation, abuse, violence, retaliation, or degrading treatment of any kind.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

Weigeaux expects suppliers to provide safe, healthy, and productive working environments that protect workers, visitors, contractors, and surrounding communities.

Workplace Safety

Suppliers shall comply with all applicable health, safety, occupational, and workplace regulations and maintain programs designed to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.

Training & Awareness

Employees shall receive appropriate safety training, emergency preparedness instruction, and job-specific education necessary to perform their responsibilities safely and effectively.

2.3

Safe Working Conditions

Suppliers shall provide safe facilities, adequate sanitation, drinking water, emergency response procedures, and protective equipment where required by law or operational necessity.

Continuous Improvement

Suppliers are encouraged to continuously improve workplace health and safety performance through risk assessments, employee engagement, corrective actions, and proactive management practices.

Environmental Responsibility

Weigeaux encourages suppliers to operate responsibly, minimize environmental impacts, and support sustainable business practices that contribute to long-term environmental stewardship.

Environmental Compliance

Suppliers shall comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits, and reporting obligations in every jurisdiction where they operate.

Resource Efficiency

Suppliers are encouraged to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, conserve water, and optimize resource utilization across their operations.

Sustainable Practices

Suppliers should actively pursue environmentally responsible manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and business practices that support long-term sustainability.

Continuous Improvement

Environmental performance should be measured, monitored, and continuously improved through practical, achievable initiatives and responsible management.

Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

Suppliers shall conduct business free from bribery, corruption, kickbacks, fraud, or improper influence and comply with all applicable anti-corruption laws.

Suppliers shall compete fairly, conduct business honestly, and comply with all applicable competition and antitrust regulations.

Data Privacy & Cybersecurity

Suppliers shall protect sensitive information, implement reasonable cybersecurity measures, and comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Section 05

Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

Innovation, engineering methodologies, proprietary technologies, and intellectual property are central to the value created by Weigeaux and its partners.

5.1

Protection of Intellectual Property

Suppliers shall respect all intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, engineering methodologies, proprietary processes, and confidential business information.

5.2

Confidential Information

Suppliers shall protect confidential information received from Weigeaux, customers, partners, or third parties and shall use such information only for authorized business purposes.

5.3

Joint Innovation Activities

Suppliers participating in collaborative innovation, product development, technology evaluations, or commercialization initiatives must respect agreed ownership, licensing, confidentiality, and disclosure requirements.

5.4

Technology Commercialization Integrity

Suppliers shall not misuse, copy, disclose, distribute, commercialize, or otherwise exploit proprietary information without appropriate authorization.

Supplier Accountability & Compliance

Suppliers are responsible for implementing and maintaining systems that support compliance with this Code.

06.1

Leadership Responsibility

Suppliers should designate appropriate leadership personnel responsible for compliance oversight and implementation of ethical business practices.

06.2

Employee Training

Suppliers should provide periodic training and awareness programs that reinforce compliance obligations and ethical conduct.

06.3

Monitoring & Documentation

Suppliers should maintain appropriate records, documentation, and monitoring processes that demonstrate compliance with this Code.

06.4

Corrective Action

When issues are identified, suppliers are expected to address them promptly, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Section 07

Reporting Concerns

Suppliers are encouraged to raise concerns regarding potential violations of law, ethical misconduct, conflicts of interest, workplace safety, intellectual property misuse, or other activities inconsistent with this Code.

Weigeaux will review concerns in good faith, investigate appropriately, and support an environment where issues can be reported without fear of retaliation.
